Shredding method

The paper shredder is composed of a set of rotating blades, paper combs and drive motors. Shredding ability

Shredded paper effect

The shredding effect refers to the size of the waste paper formed after the paper is processed by the shredder, generally in millimeters (mm). Granules and foams have the best effect, followed by broken shapes, and strips and segments have relatively worse effects. For example, the 22mm security effect can cut A4 paper into more than 1500 pieces. In different occasions, paper shredders with different shredding effects can be selected according to actual needs. For example, families and small offices can choose 4mm50mm, 4mm30mm and other specifications for occasions where confidentiality is not involved. Where confidentiality is required, the computer-printed documents must be shredded to paper strips below 3.8mm in accordance with the minimum standards for destruction of data. For highly confidential documents, a paper shredder that can be cut vertically and horizontally should be used, and it is best to choose a paper shredder with a shredding effect of 3mm3mm and below.

Shredding speed

The shredding speed is the processing capacity of the paper shredder. It is generally measured by the total length of waste paper that can be processed per minute, such as 3 meters per minute, which means the total length of paper that can be processed per minute before being shredded. Of course, it is also expressed in centimeters, which is actually the same.

Shredded paper volume

Above the basket, the cut pieces are simply placed in the waste paper basket; slightly more expensive products come with a waste paper basket (shredded paper box). Most office shredders are generally closed cabinets with wheels, which can be easily moved in the office. This type of paper shredder involves the choice of the volume of the shredder box.
